A truly multicultural trust

We are hugely proud of our cultural diversity here at Bright Futures and welcome the opportunity to celebrate everyone’s different backgrounds and perspectives, helping to educate where needed. This was epitomised by Rushbrook last week, when the school held a MultiCultural Day. Children were invited to share their experiences from their own cultures, and come to school in traditional dress or their own choice of clothes. Many brought in traditional food and teachers delivered a range of lessons about our wonderful multicultural world.

The last few weeks have seen our students and their families celebrate Eid, VE Day and Africa Day – and our academies have been delighted to join in! For just a taste, here are pictures of Melland students celebrating VE Day with an egg and spoon race and Elmridge students celebrating Eid with a visit from Altrincham & Hale Muslim Association and 4Unity Community.

What a fantastic way to learn and share in each other’s lives.
