World record at AGGS?

Fund-raising and fun were the order of the day at AGGS recently, when the entire school joined together to attempt a record-breaking game of musical bumps. All the staff and students took part, taking sponsorships to raise money for The Ocean Cleanup. At last count, the total raised was nearly £2,000, which is a fantastic effort. The Ocean Cleanup aims to reduce the 5million+ pieces of plastic currently littering the ocean, with a target of 50% cleaned up in five years. The funds raised will help the organisation scale the technology to start rolling out this process. We are so impressed with the responsibility of our students in recognising the need to protect our world. Watch this space to see if they make the Guinness Book of Records!
